How can i fix my Hoover six 1200 washer dryer?

The door is still automatically locked some 12 hours after the washer cycle has ended and it will not release, meaning that all my work clothes are still inside. I try turning it on and off and jamming the door release button as hard as i can but its to no avail, it wont budge,]
