why is my iveco 75e17 truck using a lot of oil?

3 litres per day is an unbelieveable amount!
How are you checking it? Are you looking at the dipstick and putting oil into the correct filler point?
Is the sump plug tightened correctly? Is the oil filter tightened correctly? Was an oil change done recently?

if using so much oil it must be showing signs somewhere, if not smoking is there a serious oil leak on engine ,have you checked air tanks to see if oil is getting into airbrake system somehow?
