Mend Renault Scenic Diesel Turbo

renault scenic 1.9 dci black smoke but no loss of power?

ive got a renault megane scenic 115000 miles. new turbo fitted but whistles and black smoke cans out of exhaust but no loss of power.
What is the problem and how can it be fixed

when you the inlet side do you mean the manifold. how do you find out if exhausts blocked. also the car smokes abit under normal driving. looks grey/black then when you put ur foot down its just black. any advise

if you are hearing whistling then you may have a blocked exhaust/cat causing back pressure or it may be coming from the inlet side of the manifold
