Mend Combi Boiler Pressure Home Heating

I've overfilled my combi boiler?

Have topped up the water on my combi boiler to approx 3.5 bar.Everything seems to be working ok, but can this cause a problem or will the pressure readjust to he correct level?

Thanks Ste for the reply.However I should have said this was my daughters boiler,and I will not be able to get to drain the water off until I next visit her which may be a few days.So will this be ok until then?
What if any damage can it cause if the pressure is higher than 1.5 barre.

just drain some out through a radiator bleed screw until around 1.5 bar when system is cold.
