I can not get my machine to wind a bobbin?

The spindle on top does not turn, I can not even turn it by hand...

Hello Irene,
Sounds like the spindle has seized, you need to put some WD40 on the spindle and let it seep down but not too much, you need an electric drill and put the chuck over the spindle and tighten lightly, turn the drill on slowly and it will free itself.
