beko 32"hdwide stuck on standby mode?

i have a 32" hd beko it switches on to standby mode but wont turn on by remote nor by the bittons on the sidem yes have done the obviouse and changed remote batterys.we dont have a tv repair company nere us and was hoping i could fix myself any help appreciated.
