Mend Whirlpool AKZ161/GR Oven Cooker Temperature

oven shut down?

whirlpool akz161/gr, fan oven shuts down when temp gets to 200c, oven light indicator shows it has reached temp (say 200c) when seperate oven thermometer shows it is only at 140c. turn indicated temp selection to 230c ,oven reaches 200c then shuts down.
