protherm80e ?

my boiler wotks on hot water for 2 mins then goes off then comes back on again and so on, could it be some sort of over heat stat.

Protherm Protherm 80e D.I.Y, Plumbing Boiler Hot Water Stat

If the hot water keeps going hot and cold then it's probably a blocked or partilally blocked plate to plate heat exchanger. this can be removed, flushed out and cleaned. It should fix the problem
