sound driver suddenly has stopped and no sound from pc?

my pc had sound but wanted to listen to some music stored in my pc but caption says sound driver unavailable how can i repair this

2. re-install the sound driver, from your motherboard manufacturers website. if its an intel you should have no problems. www.intel.com
