how do i change a water pump on a 1998 Chevy Malibu with a 2.4L?

If I remeber right the 2.4 is a double over head engine which I was trained on and if your a amatuer you don`t want to mess with it ........it involves taking the timing chain and gears off ect ...exhaust manifold ect
The water pump is driven by the timing chain and when the assemble is put back together it has to be on the money or damage to the vavles will occur
If you do this job be sure to turn the engine over by hand before trying to crank ....if it doesn`t turn over by hand at least twice without binding you have not reassembled it right
Will need to know where top cams are marked at with dowel pins inserted while you time the crank with the two camshafts
