Mend Chevy 1998 Lumina Operating Temperature Problem

how can I fix my transmission in my 1998 chevy lumina?

My 1998 Chevy Lumina has to reach normal operating temperature before the transmission will go into gear, how do I fix this problem?

Sounds like possably a problem in the vavle body of trans...If I remember right it had a 440 trans in it and they have been a problem since they were built ..........be sure to check trans fluid first
