Mend Goodmans Turned Black Sound

how can i fix my 20" goodmans flat screen tv?

the screen of my t.v has turned permanently black as if its turned off but the sound for the channels stays on? there is no picture or any interfierence when turned on or off. Is there any part i can buy to resolve this problem. many thanks
