Apollo Fanfare Boiler Problem?

My Apollo Fanfare seems to work ok. Apart from a quite loud bang when the central heating is on....it does not make the same sound when only the hot water is being heated. The bang only happens once during the heating period it sounds to me like some sort of expansion within the boiler itself ....is this ok, or should I get it examined further? Thanks
