How can I fix my microwave Panasonic NNP295W, door latch?

Hi DJ, take a palette knife, or thin bladed paint scraper and insert it from below at the point where the door meets the control panel, slip it upwards until it touches the broken door catch and it should lift it enough to open the door. I don't recognise the model number of your machine but there are 2 likely causes, either the hook part that engages the spring has broken off, or the door anchor point for the spring has broken away (very common) For any further assistance parts etc contact me via microwave-repairs.co.uk.
