how do I clean a gainsborough shower head?

Press the 'Stop' button then briefly press the 'Low' button.

The light comes on automatically after a certain period of time to remind you to clean the shower head, based on an estimate of how dirty the shower head will be after a certain period of time. It does not actually sense how dirty the shower head is.

has anyone had any joy fixing the flashing "clean showerhead" light on a gainsborough..having taken off the shower head the light still flashes.. help

I too have the same unit and have this annoying light flashing - tried switching off from mains and switch it back on and still flashes.

Not sure how it knows the shower head is dirty!!!
