Hi again everyone having this problem, I've solved the problem and my machine is working as good as new.
Don't try my last suggestion as it did not work.
Instead, open the filter a bit and let all the excess water drain from it (make sure you have an old towel or something to absorb the water under the filter on the floor, a small bucket and a mop before you open the filter.
Firstly, turn off the power at the wall, pull your machine out so that you can also unplug it from the mains and hang the plug over the top to the front of the machine.
Tilt your machine backwards so it is resting steady so you can reach the filter easily, unscrew the filter a bit so the water starts draining slowly (keep an eye on it as you may need to replace the towel or other material underneath and use the mop for any excess water while doing so) then unscrew the filter fully so you can remove it and give it a good clean up and rinse under a tap, also use a cloth to wipe around the edges inside the filter unit to clean it.
Replace the filter and make sure it is screwed in correctly insuring the edges are even all round once you finish cleaning it, stand your machine normally, put the plug back in the socket, push your machine back in to place, turn on at the mains (wall switch) and just to test, set your normal wash program with the machine empty and try a full cycle wash first to check that the problem has been solved.
If this does not work then call Indesit technical help line on 03440903444 from the UK.
