how do i open my cannister electrolux to fix cordwinder?

1. Remove hose and bag.
2. Open bag door, slide rubber side bumpers out to expose hard plastic bumper rails underneath.
3. Look at end of rails to see "T" cross-section. These rails slide out once small barbs are moved out of the way.
4. Slide flat bladed screwdriver along top of "T" profile an inch or so to release the barbs.
5. Slide rails out.
6. Look for tabs to release housing now revealed.
