has stopped sewing,the material is not feeding through the machine

the machine is electric,the moter is still running,i think it has something to do with the teeth not coming up to pull the material through.

Need a bit more information, is the machine no running at all? is the machine running but the material not feeding through which might be caused by the drop fee if you have one on the machine? is the machine a computerized machine?
