how can I fix whirlpool generation 2000+ oven?

It is saying stop, I have followed the manual where it says turn it to off and press the button and wait 10 seconds but nothing is happening

It sounds as if the microswitch is faulty. What is the model number..it begins 85.......... I will give you the part number.
