how does the oven of a electric hygena classic oven turn on?

I have turned the oven switch to oven and the other switch to read manual then press the start button, but the oven does not heat up. the grill to the oven works fine.

hi, either loose wire on control knob or heating elements have blown, make sure clock is set ok ,i know sometimes ovens wont work with out clock being set.
