How can I fix my grill in my built in zanussi cooker ?

this is how it works because it doubles up as an oven and the thermostat controls it.could be a faulty stat but you would need to do a temperature check on the oven to confirm this.does it tell you in the instructions to grill with the door open or closed? as this will make a difference to its performance
