Mend Hoover HSC170 Tumble Heating

my hoover tumble dryer (hsc170) has started over heating ?

last night my hoover tumble dryer started over heating, cut out, then after 5 minutes came on again.
this morning i put the tumble dryer on and after a few minutes the whole of the downstairs electrics blew, and now the tumble dryer has completely stopped working.please could someone help me , is the machine salvageable? or has it broken for good and we need a new one

How old is it & how much are you prepared to spend on fixing it? It is definitely not a DIY project when fuses/rcd's blow. You need qualified assistance.
