Mend Veritas 8 Alarm System

veritas 8 alarm system?

i recently decorated my front room and moved a sensor so i could paper round and turned the power off to replace sockets now my alarm system will not set. there is power going to the control panel as the light are on and when you press the code in it makes a sound (clicking) the sensor i moved still lights up when you walk in the room.
