Why my Candy Activa timer clicks by itself?

I have a Candy "Activa My Logic 1000" washing machine, out of warranty. I have a problem: when the machine it is running, the timer unexpectedly starts clicking by itself, doing one o more dials and stopping to the initial position.
Could anyone help me to find the causes?
