How do i know how much oil to put in my 1994 Astra?

Pop the hood and look for the Dipstick (usually yellow), take the dipstick out wipe the oil off the dipstick using a clean cloth.

Push the dipstick slowly all the way into its tube, and then pull it out again. The oil level should be between the upper and lower marks. If the level is near the lower mark, you need to top up (till the oil level is between the upper and lower marks.)
