Mend Sony DCR-TRV355E Camcorder Repair

how can i fix my sonyDCR-TRV355E?

when I insert a tape and push down the tape will not not transport sideways into the machine.Without a tape in it does so.With a tape in the compartment if I lower the lid ti ll it touches and switch power to camera it flashes C:31:40 in the top R.H.side of the screen. Any ideas.

Make sure that you insert the tape in the proper position, then you can push the side cover towards the tape but do not push the upper metal peace.
