Which pair of wires should I link to bypass the switch ?
(I can then switch on/off with mains socket switch)
I tried joining SST-3 to SD-2 and SST-2 to SD-1 as a first guess, but "door open" cut-off doesnt work.
I don't want to try another combination by more guess work !
Mike, I take your point on the door switch being a safety device, however this WAS working fine. It's the push button start/stop switch that didn't work, so I tried bypassing it ....
The WAY I bypassed it (as described ) must have disabled the door switch !

If the switch is broken buy & install a new one. The door switch is an important safety device & should not be tampered with. To obtain an electrical schematic to bench test a door switch you must supply the machine's service number. It starts with "85" & has 12 digits.
