Mend AEG OKO Favorit Dishwasher Repair Filters

How to fix our AEG OKO Favorit dishwasher?

When the power/start button is fully depressed, the power light comes on, but one let go to allow it to engage in the depressed position (in) the light goes out.
I've stripped down the internal sections and cleaned out all filters/parts and noticed the green impellors are moving freely, so its not that.
Also our model is around 5 years old and does not have an LCD panel.
Any thoughts, cheers.
