Thanks for the help, we've managed to change it and you've saved us a lot of money. Zanussi could only sugest we call a service engineer.

2 screws in roof of oven cavity hold it up.take the whole back panel off the cooker and you will see its held on with 2 nuts.remove nuts,remove wiring (note or take a pic of where they go) and then element will lift out from inside the oven cavity.refit in reverse
