Mend Creda Colonial Electric Cooker Oven

My creda Colonial oven grill is tripping the electricity out?

Every time I turn the middle switch (the one that regulates the top oven but also turns on the grill) it trips off the electricity. Both the grill elements have been replaced but the problem still occurs. What could be causing this?
