no hot water or central heating - Help Please?

first thing I would check is the presure it should be 1/1.5 bar if not needs fill , check under the boiler the sould be a silver hose with a valve on turn it 1/4 turn when water presure says 1/1.5 bar tun of and the boiler should light.
