WASHING MACHINE STOPPING DURING CYCLE?

My Indesit WIL113UK washing machine has stopped working, its been like this for 5 days. It starts its cycle and is only lasting about 10-15 mins and stopping, its gradually got worse. At the beginning it would get half way thru the cycle and stop.
Has anyone any ideas.

I’m contemplating on buying a new one as I was told by a guy who fixed a washing machine a few years ago that all new machines are not worth fixing, not sure why though.
