when I take a corner what is the "chain falling off" noise?

Probably the CV joint, where the driveshaft meets the wheel. If it's that noisy it must be very badly worn. Get it replaced as soon as possible, if it fails when you are driving the consequences are obvious.

Either a driveshaft problem (low speed and full steering lock causes a rapid knock) or maybe a broken front spring....any help?
