You can get it open via the back seats. The seat will fold down (either split or one piece seat back). Remove the rear shelf first.
There is a sheet steel panel on the hatch (inside).Remove the plastic handle (not on older models) - one large Philips screw. Remove the plastic trim buttons. This will give access to space inside hatch. Try opening the hatch by pushing/pulling the linkage from the lock cylinder to the lock. This may work. If not you will have to unbolt the steel hoop and plate which the lock engages. 2 No 10 mm (Across Flats) hex head screws hold it in place. Un screw these (open jaw or ring wrench with an offset head required). That will get the boot open.
You'll then have to investigate the lock.
