Mend GE PDWT840W00 Agitator Remove Machine

Removing the bell?

I have removed the agitator from my GE Profile Performance Washer. Found the bell attached with a hex bolt. I removed the bolt with a wrench and I am not able to remove the bell. Is there a trick to removing the bell because it doesn't just pull right off... Please help!
