Mend Mercedes-Benz E200 Kompressor Stopped Problem Fault

radio stopped working in mercedes e200 kompressor?

does anyone have the same problem , is it a common fault, it has stopped working altogether, mechanic thinks replacement is only alternative....any ideas anyone....thanks.

HI there,

I can almost catagoricaly tel you that it is always the radio. I have had two fitted now, worked for a few weeks and then dead again. It is linked to either the amplifier or directly to the speakers. It is a nuisance as mine hasn't worked for 3 months now, don't know how I have survived this long. Local auto electrician is going to look into it for me.
