how do i descale my steam generator?

Hi VIV.
if its the same as mine...
turn to min heat... on the iron.
make sure unit says steam!!!
hold iron over sink.
press and hold the button on the iron for around 3 min .
machine should make steam and pass water * HOT* so mind your hands.
can take upto a min before it will start.!!
and you should see all the calky bits appear in sink..
when clear!!!
turn off as normal leave to cool .
clean soleplate on iron.
then before using it ... turn on steam to high and use an old cloth/towel to soak up remaining calky bits.
