Thanks Ian, the old one has a screw that has got worn so i bought another with a little tap on it, i dont nead to replace the valve at the heating end so i should get away with just replacing the other bit, thanks again, Olga

yes, unless you are also changing the non return valve on the heating side as well, in which case you'll need to drain the heating as well.
