No power to hoover crystaljet Dishwasher?

where the handle to open the door is situated there is a micro switch inside. This is operated by the metal shackle which is fixed to the main body. If the switch isn't being clicked or it is duff the power won't come on.

to replace the switch is a nightmare as you have to remove all the stainless steel inner plate on the door. While you are doing this the springs which hold the door open/closed come out of place and then you have to take the sides off to sort them out. A lovely pliece of design.
