TDC Sensor Renault Megane Scenic Expression 2001?

Have experienced engine cut out whilst travelling. AA
assistance TDC problem static, Bad starting TDC problem static. In the past 8 months 2 New TDC sensors with the new loom as instructed were fitted.
Earth by touching seems to release static this is all very well unless your in traffic. Please can any one inform me of a solution so as I can inform my garage and have peace of mind whilst driving.
