how can i clean the drying fan area on our mielle dishwasher?

How can I remove the grill behind the ventilation outlet for drying fan -(on the inside of the dishwasher)? The area underneath the fan needs cleaning I feel. The problem I have is that after the dishwasher has completed a cycle, and I open the door, a large puddle of water comes out onto the floor through the ventilation outlet. This I think is due to the fan area needing cleaning . I would be grateful if anyone can help. Our dishwasher is Mielle G646SC plus. Many thanks.
