What can the problem be?
my Timex Expedition indiglo keeps perfect time but the indiglo backlight has stopped working.
The back plate hasn't been removed and I don't remember it being dropped or jolted in any way.
Is ther an easy fix or will I buy a new one?
I have the same problem that Andrew has... I saw something on the battery panel about "shorting" the battery.... Any idea how to do this and will it get my Indiglo back on? Overall, I like the watch. Aside from this Indiglo problem and the CHEAP wristband!!

It works but there is only a tiny glow near the 6. So It's not a power problem or a button problem. I couldn't get the inside movement out of the case to investigate (didn't know how to remove stem) but will try for an exchange (less than 1yr old).

I have the same problem. I went to Timex Service Center and they said they could have it repaired for a minimal cost plus it would take at least a month. I didn't have it repaired.... yet. It's sad that I've had this watch for less than 2 years and I'm getting these problems. My other Timex watch is 10 years old and has no problems.
