I had a new battery put in my Indiglo around Christmas ?
I had a new battery put in my Indiglo at Christmas...at a jewelry store, and it quit today (March 16). I took it back and they said it had moisture in it and that they'll do that after you break the seal on the back to replace the battery. THEN they told me that it was ruined and I would have to send it back to Timex and have a new movement put in it and it would cost more than it was worth. I asked them to pull the back of so I could dry it out and put a battery in it and they did. NOBODY carries that battery. It looks like I'm going to have to go back to them and get a battery. Should I have them put it in and check it to see if it's gonna run or what? The watch is sentimental or I'd just get another one.
Thanks,

I Had A Timex Indiglo Chrono the Dials Kept Going out of sinc, the Backlight Failed so I took it Back to Argos and They Sent It Away and replaced it with a Recon of different colour which Developed the Same Prob after 2 months, I also Own A Citizen Automatic And Have Had it some Years with No Probs. My Advice to Anyone is 1 Dont Buy Timex Battery Watches 2 Dont Buy them From Argos 3 Spend A few more Quid and Get A quality Wind up/Auto that Can be serviced (I also Own A 1974 Rotary passed to me By my Dad and It keeps mint time to this Day and Thats 36 yes 36 Years Old )
