how to replace deteriorating gas lines?

I have a Craftsman 24cc 1.3ci. 2-cycle gasoline weedwacker model #358.795300. One of the gaslines broke during start up. I'm attempting to replace line but found a loose part inside the tank and am trying to find an explosion detail. Can you help?
