Ridiculous how stores can sell these irons and not sell the cartridges, its costing more on catridges than the iron itself.

i was struggling to find replacements on the internet although i did think some looked like they would fit i went to comet taking my used cartridge with me and bought a pack of 2 universal cartridges for £9.99 (and they do fit)so we do not have to buy russell hobbs brand or pay ebay prices

You can get the replacement cartridges directly from Russell Hobbs on 0845 658 9700. They cost £7.25 each including delivery (much cheaper than the £11.99 + £2.50 that I've seen them for on eBay)

I think it'll be cheaper to buy a new iron! yet that model is still widely available to buy despite it being nearly impossible to get cartridges - how do they get away with it?

I just keep drying my old ones out and putting them back in, as I can't find them anywhere either!
Next move will be to open one cartridge up somehow and replace the filter pack. If you find some please let me know.
