can I repair the circuit board for janome memory craft 5700?

When switched on the screen said system error so I rang janome and they said it was the circuit board that needs replacing at £250.00 + fitting so I just wondered if there was any way a circuit board can be repaired.

Hello Ann,
Unlikely anyone will repair a circuit board apart from the manufacurer, it is very delicate, one wrong move and the board can be blown.
