Hi Brian,
I take it that you have a 5 speed ZF transmission. This will need Esso LT71141 transmission fluid ONLY.The filler is to the rear of the sump pan. It is recessed and is 17mm Allen key type bung. Engine running on level ground if topped up cold to level ATF will foam out of breather on a run due to expansion. It is difficult to top up without a suitable tool due to the laws of gravity. If there is no signs of a leak it shouldn't need topping up.
