Where can I send my iron to be fixed?

I sent my iron (professional) to the appliance center in Downers Grove Il. to be fixed and I got it back with refused stamped on the package. I spent almost $10 to send it and it wasn't even opened!! I have tried calling and it says the line is being checked for problems. Please help!
