Mend Kenwood GJ/SS25 Bought Stopped Months Ago

shall i bin it or fix it?

I bought a kenwood gj/ss25 micowave
the turntable stopped rotateing a few months ago. Now it has stopped heating, but the fan still blows and the light and timmer still works. Is it worth trying to look inside..??? i would need to buy a special star end screw driver.
