Mend Aquarius 400 Door Screws Holes

how can i fix aquarius 400 door lock.Small screws, big holes?

I have an aquarius 400 and my son unscrew the 2 screws that are holding the plastic lock. I put them back in place but the washing machine is not working. I cannot understand how these screws were fixed. They are normal chipboard like screws with flat head, and the holes are so big.Is there something from behind that was holding them? something that makes contact?

the 2 screws, screw into the door interlock assembly, this has now fallen down, with the power OFF remove the washer top and look inside you should be able to see it dangling
